Who has some of these values I been hearing about?

What does having these values do for you?

If you have values that mean you interfere wish a woman's decision to have an abortion and if you stop her from having an abortion you refuse to give her a job because she's a single mom and then you don't want her on welfare because she should get her ass to work but you don't want to her to work because moms should be home with their kids?

If you have values does that mean you support our troops and the war effort but you won't hold anyone responsible if they send the troops into harms way with inadequate equipment and food, cut their benefits and having them fighting when they really didn't have too and then hide the bodies as they come home in coffins so we don't have to be upset during the day?

If you have values does that mean you believe in hard work and honesty and taking responsibility for your actions except if wage war based on inaccurate information provided to you by incompetent people who didn't do their homework and blame all of it on someone else?

If you have values does that mean you get to teach my kids about the bible but refuse to provide them any scientific information that could save their lives later on in life like sex education or pay teachers enough to get top talent out of colleges like big business to teach our kids?

If you have values does that mean you are more then willing to let big business use up every natural resource we have but your unwilling to let Michael J. Fox have a couple of stem cells that will be thrown away anyway?

If you have values does that mean you have no problem putting Martha Stewart on trial and in jail for lying about her own money as soon as possible but you can't figure out how to convict any executives and CEOs that have been looting and raping companies for years, stealing profits running companies into the ground and leaving their workers without jobs and retirement benefits they earned?

If you have values does that mean everyone gets to pick out passages of the bible and misinterpret them to fit whatever you see wrong with other people in this country?

If you have values does that mean you get to go back to community college every time your job is outsourced and you don't need overtime or any benefits?

I have a lot more questions but if you could answer one more for now.

If you have values does that mean you can gamble, use and traffic in drugs, sexually harass women and cavort with prostitutes but no one else can?

2. May I copy this to another board?

Some people on another board I go to have many hypocrites calling themselves "compassionate conservatives." This essay is perfect to throw in their faces. If I can copy it, I will keep it intact and put the link back to DU so people will know who wrote it. Thanks--excellent work.
