Can we set up a fund to donate in honor of Mrs. Edwards?

I know that finances are probably not a worry for them, but I thought maybe the Edwards family would feel supported if we collected some money somehow to donate to a Breast Cancer cause in her name from Democratic Underground.



This is a chance to focus on something positive and move away from all of our disappointment.

1. I would suggest

just doing it individually (to American Cancer Society or other), but to add 'from Democratic Underground' to your name. She'll receive notification of donations that are given in her name.

I just think that if it gets too convoluted by trying to consolidate contributions, people might lose interest in donating. (not trying to be wet blanket - I think it's a great idea, but I am afraid people are overwhelmed right now so we should KISS)
