Changing our "buzz" words
There has been discussion these past few days of taking a new stand on core issues, specifically abortion and gay rights.

It occurs to me that our buzz phrases fail to resonate. Let's change our language, not our platform.

The rich get richer: "Corporate Welfare"
Predatory Lending: "Transfer of Wealth"
Universal Health Care: "No Child Left to Die"
Gay Marriage: "Freedom of Religion" or "Pursuit of Happiness"
Pro-choice: "Make Better Choices Possible" (We need to make it clear that pro-choice is NOT pro-abortion.)

Any ideas?

1. pro-choice: anti-abortion, not anti-woman
dammit, they're on the LOSING SIDE of the abortion argument.

well, at least they would be if they goal was reducing abortions instead of scapegoating women
