Any news on the new Bin Laden Tape? Haven't heard anything

3. Well this morning CNN showed something

In which I only saw the end, It did not include a picture of Bin Laden, but a picture of a terrorist with an RPG and a face swathed in cloth (you know, the Italian Restaurnt Checkerboard so popular in Terrorist fashion these days) with the statement. "Bush will turn American into a hell" I think they were not showing the actual tape, but reporting the content.
I also think the tape is real and Bush found out about it just before he gave his victory speech becasue there were times when he was at the podoium where he was grasping the edges of it, hunched over, and virtually holding himself up. Another shot of him when he though he wasnt being watched revealed a face that looked very grave and almost fearful until the reporter caught his eye and said "smile" I think Bush has either seen the tape, or had been made aware of its content.

The tape does exist, and so far it appears that Al Jazeera has been asked to not air any of it by the U.S. government. Threatened would be more likely, and perhaps the U.S. has stated that if they do, they will not be alloewd to continue operations in Iraq.

Though it has not appreaerd on Al Jazerra, it is already going up on Islamic web sites used by terrorists to announce their latest beheadings. It is real.

Odds are that when bin Laden hears about it not being released by Al Jazerra, it will be even more widely distribted on tyhe internet.

It is apparant that some terrorists have seen it because this is the statement that was release on CNN today:

DUBAI: A group linked to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network threatened the United States with reprisals after the re-election of President George W Bush, warning of "unbearable hell," in a website statement on Friday.

"The coming days will show you that the one you preferred will lead you to an unbearable hell," said the group calling itself the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades after the al-Qaeda military chief killed in Afghanistan in October 2001.

It was not possible to immediately verify the statement.

The same group claimed responsibility for the deadly train bombings in Madrid in March this year.

If CNN would release this, but the U.S. try to withhold the tape Al Jazeera had, the contents of the tape may be very bad, and perhaps a tape that the U.S. feels is giving instructions to Al Qaeda sleepers.

I will expect that you will see that Al Qaeda gets this tape on the internet within a few days.

The tape seems to exist, as on websites used by insurgents, there is discussion of the content of the tape.

I beleive that it is very likely that the taope does in fact contain the message that Bin Laden is targetting only states that Supported Bush. Most of middle American did not have much of a stake in the 9/11 attacks, as they always beleived it would remain the big cities that would continue as the targets for Al Qaeda. I think Bush wants it withheld because among his supporters one can imagine a major panic ensuing upon hearing such a message directly. They are not intelligent enough to get the idea that a 9/11 attempt has a smaller chance of effecting any one individual than being struck by lighting at the same time as bering run down by a Hummer. But then again, that is not much to the people who happen to be the ones it happens to.

When I find anything else. I will keep you guys updated.

I think eventually Al Jazerra will end up releasing it regardless of U.S. government threats.

2. I don't think it actually existed

It was only originally mentioned in a single source (of dubious authenticity), and every time it was brought up, they'd print excerpts from the first tape.
