At least we don't have to sit through boring discussions on the electoral college this year.

...get rid of the Electoral College? I'm serious; there is absolutely no reason why we have it anymore in this day and age of fast electronic communications.

It will get rid of the concept of swing states

It will get rid of the concept of red and blue states.

It will encourage people who say their vote doesn't matter because they live in a republican or democratic strongholds.

WHY DO WE STILL HAVE THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE!?
