Can the world hate us enough not to do business with us.
Perhaps this may be the (temporary) cure to outsourcing, trade deficit, etc.... If the world loathes us that much, maybe they will refuse to affiliate with us. Could we possibly be isolated the same way South Africa was years ago?

Problem....
The Indian companies that receive most of the outsourcing business have said they're overjoyed at Bush's win. Kerry made opposition to outsourcing an issue in the campaign. Bush & Co. favor outsourcing - it increases profits to the billionaires who are Bush's base!

2. South African has a piddly economy compared to the USA
We'll never be economically isolated. It is American over-consumers that make the world go round.

But if any other country in the world had invaded a sovereign nation on obscure pretexts, and caused widespread death and destruction... that nation would certainly be isolated and considered criminal. America is too rich to be isolated.

4. This coutry will become more and more isolated
becasue that is what this administration wants. Like Nazi Germany. Remember the Bush family financed the Nazi's and they learned how to do this.

13. Not as long as we have low wage capitalists calling the shots
Remember 'merican workers "want too much money" thus we have out-sourcing & trade deficits. Short term corporate gains are the mother's milk of today's world economy.

7. We have less and less to offer in terms of talent.
It will be a sound business decision to avoid hiring us. They'll keep selling to us as much as they can, but with the decline of the dollar that will have its limits.

9. They can definitely lose faith in our economy
And stop investing in it. Which is what is going to happen sooner or later (I'm betting on sooner) as we run up the trade deficit.

10. It's more complicated.
It's not a matter of someone else buying our products because we don't make any anymore. We are the market for their products which were our products formerly. Unfortunately, we will not be able to afford those items shortly.

Also, the world is beginning to arm itself and forge alliances that don't include us, because George is seen as Hitler-style insane with a nuclear arsenal. We're going to be left out of a lot. George is going to try and push countries around because he thinks we're still in the Dulles era, but nobody needs us anymore.

1. We have no economic strength with which to help anybody.
2. We have no military strength with which to help anybody.

George has gutted us and doesn't notice it.

11. Airbus is crushing Defense Contractor Boeing!
Good old Airbus! I like that name too.

Asian carriers are buying all Airbus's now, no more Boeing 7-series.

12. My uncle, the Freeper, is in a business with Int'l sales...
he used to have contracts with companies in Spain, UK and Germany.

He is in Industrial sales.

Back in the summer, he was crying the blues about losing ALL of his Spanish contracts, some even specifically told him they don't want to support the U.S. economy anymore and feel better about dealing with SCANDANAVIAN countries for these materials.

His U.K and German contracts are flying out the door as well.

But alas, he has drank the koolaid, and will not waiver.
