I just feel like he is trying to sell that idea to everyone now..those reporters yesterday, the mandate shit...I just think its all a sham..he was shocked that he went over by that many..because the plan WORKED like a charm...or so they think...

1. We know. He knows we know.
And now, we know he knows we know.

He's mocking us.

3. Inundate the White House with e-mails
that his presidency is not OUR will. I've let him know how I feel about him.

6. The will of, at best, 21% of Americans, is that what he means?
That's my best calculation of his votes/US population. Voting age population, he gets a higher percentage, but still less than half. How big is the eligible voting population, anyway?

7. What percentage of the entire population did Kerry get?
I see your point, but that same argument could be applied to any President. Unless every single eligible citizen votes, and every last vote is counted, then there can be no such thing as a President with the TRUE will of the people behind him. Americans are way too apathetic a people, and for any President to brag about "having the will of the people behind him" is meaningless.

9. Well, your last sentence gets near what I'm trying to say.
Although some wins have been much stronger than Bush's, giving a more reasonable argument that the will of the people was behind it.

I'm just pointing out the silliness of the latest spin.

8. Could it be that he

is as delusional and egomaniacal as he seems to be?

I get the impression his pinhead is swelling and as our Napoleon Caesar II, he now thinks HE IS the embodiment of the will of the people. His idea of that would be that in some religious, magical way, he does not even have to consult them when he acts on that will.

The problem with his supposed re-election is that the "wrongest" President ever now deludes himself even more. He feels he is the "rightest". That's the scary part.
