Offering up the other cheek to slap isn't working politically

It's time to get dirty. It's time to learn from our Democratic forefathers and get down and dirty. While I don't encourage us to break the law and get the dead out to vote...I think we should learn something from Chicago style and the old Tammany Hall politics.....

People respect power and authority and are drawn to it. Today's voter is inundated with information. They don't want long winded explanations. They want sound bites and something to get emotional about. Political Campaigns are battles and people want to root for a candidate like they do an army or a football team...

I told the Kerry campaign in my county..."When they slap you in the face, take out some teeth...when they push you down, break their kneecaps"...now I didn't mean this literally but figuratively but I can honestly tell you that part of the reason our county didn't carry Kerry was due in part to the fact that people felt we were too wishy washy.....The Bushies would hold signs calling us baby killers and our Kerry rep would say..."don't get negative...no one likes negative"..Bull Shit!
Negative campaigning played a big role in our local politics and I can tell you that it worked and now it's time to stop being so nice.
