The best thing that could happen
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 02:29 PM by PSU84
is for the right wing agenda to be enacted - ENTIRELY.

In fact, we should demand it, all of it, NOW.

The country voted for Bush and the Tom DeLay/Bill Frist crowd.

Now make them do what they've promised. Give the country a full does of "compassionate conservatism."

Eventually, people will feel the results and it won't be pleasant. Things must get worse before they get better.

Let us hope Congress gives Bush all that he asks for - and more.

1. I don't think...
That they much care about the compassionate part and are in the midst of proving it.

2. Yeah, I know.
But the voters have no clue what their agenda is or how it would affect them.

Americans live in an economic system full of programs and agencies that provide income, medical care, protection against defective products, workplaces safety, etc etc - all of which BushCo want to destroy. So - let's destroy 'em. Eventually even the morons who are the Republican base will understand that setting the clock back to 1880 has consequences.....

4. I'm an asexual albino.
Great question. Really gets to the heart of the matter.

5. they have NO intention of passing their agenda
empty campaign promises to get the vote.

They will act like bible thumpers when they need to. The worse thing they will do is tort reform. They won't get anything else through.
