DU'ers, politicians, men and women of America, take honor in the fact that our party didn't play on the primal fears of a nation to garner votes. Our party didn't invoke "the will of God" to get your support, our party did not shape, mold, or develop the fear in America then use it for political gain. Our party did not divide a nation between its beliefs to win office. Our party did not seperate the haves and the have-nots for corporate gains. Our party did one thing, our party spoke to Americans without regard to belief, without regards to income, without regards to race gender or sexual preferences. Our party supported what is America, the melting pot of a world. There is honor in that and with that you can see we actually won. John and Elizibeth Edwards will continue that message, remember those names, they will continue to carry that banner.
