22. I've been Cable News Free since Tues evening

I've even stopped watching network news as well as talk radio (even AA) I've just found it far too upsetting.

I have been one who has pooh-poohed and dismissed with much annoyance my fellow DU-rs who have lectured us to turn off the News Channels. I thought they were short-sighted and that there was value in monitoring the enemy. I thought I could help to hold their feet to the fire and work to keep them honest.

I was wrong.

I work at home and I've always listened to the news to keep me company. The Channel and Soap Opera's are filling in for now. I can't even watch C-Span.
