3. He spoke about the moral strength of
and of the immoral actions of this administration. He spoke about abortion. He spoke about Iraq, and said that the Bush policy there is in direct opposition to the teachings of Jesus. He spoke about the harsh treatment of the poor in this country.

I would remind DUers that in 1988, Jesse was a powerful force in the emocratic primaries. He was as much an outsider as Howard Dean was this year, but he ran a longer and stronger campaign. He was starting to take the lead, when a number of others dropped out. Michael Dukakis ended up winning. By the strength of his showing, Jesse should have had the option of being VP. But he was insulted in the park in Boston on July 4 .... I know, I was there.

Jesse had brought together the core of the democratic party. I think he represents the direction we should move in.

I love Jesse, but please, the only way to stop the lies is to stop watching.

9. you don't fight darkness
by turning out the lights. Jesse shined a light on the darkness of Bush/Cheney's heart.
