Here's my idea of a new voting system in presidential elections... |
|
Everybody that votes, no matter on what type of machine, would get a business-sized card with the presidential choices on it, that you could check a box by the person of your choice. When you had finished your voting on the machine, you could drop your little card into a box and each card would be physically counted. You could see, for example, if you were voter 1001 or 3777 or whatever. The cards would be in a locked box which could only be opened with representatives of both parties present. This would be a great backup system, in my opinion, and would be simple and easy to count.
