E-mail from a soldier in Iraq, Nov. 2 2004
my dad sent this along to me today, he works at a local high school

The following email was sent from the brother-in-law of a woman I work with. He's in a medical unit near Abu Ghraib. A Big Foot student I know very well is also in that same unit:

"I had a really bad day today. There was a sucide bomber outside a nearby gate. Explosion was so loud it rattled ear drums a mile away. I was in one of the first ambulances on scene. The wounded were already taken care of by civilian ambulances. We had two KIA, security personell. They were just blown apart. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. A torso was thrown about 300 feet into a bog, hit an outcropping of rocks with such impact that innards went flying as far as 75 feet beyond it. The other guy was all over the road for about a quarter mile. We didnt find anything of him bigger than 4 of his ribs lying in the medium looking just like a rack you
would buy in a restraunt. I wont be eating ribs any time soon. And then a couple hours later I found out there was a huge attack on abu-ghraib, and a KBR medic we were closed to got shot, died this morning before they could evac him out. And to top it all off Kerry lost. I'm alright, but I wont forget where I was election day 2004."

2. I HATE this administration.
Go send their little drunk sorority daughters to Iraq and leave the working poor at home.

I hate that it's going to take even more death to convince the American people that this "war" is a quagmire, another Viet Nam.

4. Damn
This is the kind of thing that should be heard/seen by the "masses." It's not the clean, hollywood-esque dream painted by the mainstream media.

About 25 miles away. I love Walworth...it has a nice small town feel.

I'm in Johnsburg, IL..about 7 miles south of Wilmot, WI.

Cheers,
