I got in the paper for calling Bush an " idiot"

I was involved in a debate last week which got a write-up in the school paper. Here's what they said I did: "She emphasized the need to keep social programs available, eliminate tax cuts for the rich and rebuild US relations with its allies. Her last remark of the debate, calling Bush an idiot, made some people in attendance chuckle."

He was actually running for Congress. He managed to get 37% of the vote against the incumbent which is to say he lost by a landslide.

The guy was against public education and other forms of "welfare.".

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - At least 85 students worried about war, a return of the draft and the future of the environment staged an overnight protest in the Boulder High School library before leaving peacefully Friday morning.

The students said they wanted assurances from political leaders about the direction of the country. Rep. Mark Udall, D-Colo., met with some of the students for about an hour after they left the library at 7 a.m.
