I started losing my faith in 2000-2001, and have progressively lost more faith since. The death of the American dream took place on November 2, 2004. I wonder if there is a God. I wonder if there are any good Christians or other religious people out there. I cannot believe what humanity and Americans are turning into. I don't know why people let things get so bad. I used to believe that people (even Evangelicals) had sensibility, but I don't believe that anybody does anymore. Anyway, here is a song that describes my feelings at the moment.
Lost My Faith Seal (Human Being)
We both know That the harder we try Can't understand it We're so caught up in the reasons why Station to station And we couldn't even say their names I realized it Was just a game I had lost my faith Long ago I had lost my faith Long ago I can see That if I stay close to your side All of my pressures now I know they will subside If ever you need me All you gotta do is fall I hear you sayin' That you got it all I had lost my faith Long ago I had lost my faith Long ago A stranger so it seems I lie here for you touch But what I'd like to know Is why do I want you so much You say that's all the same All through my life I have Waited for you And Have you waited too are you feeling what I'm feeling Ohhhh.... I I had lost my faith Long ago I had lost my faith long ago I had lost my faith Long ago I had lost my faith Long ago I lost my faith I lost my faith I lost my faith Ohh love

I'm off right now to drink my sorrows away. Been doing that a lot lately. There doesn't seem to be a point in anything else.

They opposed the war, support gays in the clergy and go out of their way to do works of good for others. I have no conflict between my faith and being a pro-choice Democrat.
These people running the Right are not Christians, but there are lots out there. Even if you have lost your faith, you're OK by me. It's not something to be forced on you, although my Evangelical sister would probably argue otherwise. Imagine having a fundie sister.

if it was firmly in place to begin with....Seal also wrote a lyric about his inability to understand people who refused to try and fly, didnt he?
Ive been watching the failures of our democratic process for a very long time now and each such occurance makes me more determined not less.......I bet you will throw off these doldrums and find renewed resolve to make a difference!
