"Oberlin (OHIO) students upset after election"
I believe I read where they had TWO voting machines. Count them, 1, 2.

OBERLIN -- Kerry’s campaign ended in Boston with cheers, but at Oberlin College it ended in tears.

“It’s difficult,” one student expressed.

The school has a long history of supporting the Democratic Party . . . students who give time, money and emotional capital . . . all of which was spent liberally yesterday.

“First of all I voted, which is not something to be overlooked when you wait four, five hours in line,” a student said.

At mid-day yesterday, there was a vibe in the voting line, but optimism these students felt build throughout the day stalled and then stopped around 1 a.m.

3. I believe that a loss like this hurts more
When McGovern lost to Nixon I felt just like they did -- I knew about the break-in and believe there was a lot of evil that was being hidden.

What are they going to feel when the realize all the fraud -- that their vote may have been "given" to bush rather than the person they voted for.

4. Add this to the widely-reported story from Kenyon College, nearby in Ohio.
and you get a clear picture of suppression of these students' votes (for Kerry). Kenyon students stood in line for hours at their precinct waiting for two voting machines; after legal action, they were issued paper ballots -- and finished voting at 3 a.m. Meanwhile, in Republican areas of the town of Mt. Vernon, five miles away, more machines were available than needed.

What does this say to or kids, voting for the first time, in what is supposed to be a democracy? Shame on Ohio Secy of State Blackwell, and his masters, the Bush cabal!
