Can you imagine if 50 million of us marched |
|
to the capital on Jan 20th and said, "No, you're not stealing our election!" The worlds largest protest. I mean what could they do? They'd kind of have to say, "Ooops, you know, we're sorry. It was all just a glitch. Here's the keys. See ya later."
Okay, I'm dreaming, but wouldn't it be nice?
By the way, is it irritating anyone else that every news article about every problem with the ballots refers to it as a "glitch." Funny those glitches always turn out in Bush's favor, isn't it?

2. They are just "Glitch's" in Rove's Matrix. After all, he is the Architect. |
|
But, 50 million is alot, 5 million, however is do able. That would be the largest protest ever. Of course the Whore media would say it's only 10,000 people.

instead of a useless march, we should boycott America economically. That would FAR MORE effective.

7. Yeah, I wasn't serious - just fantasizing out loud |
|
... and I figured I'd leave off the 5 million who are probably couldn't make it because of a date conflict. :)

But unfortunately it's not going to happen. There isn't the same feeling on the street of a robbed election that we had in 2000. People still think Bush is a walking disaster, but most believe that he won legitimately.

6. I was thinking about something like this... |
|
...along the lines of a "million voter march" or something. I know, though, the "million ***** march" is becoming somewhat cliche. Now, a "50 million voter march?" That would be different.

11. I think 2 million is a reasonable number to aim for. |
|
We can draw on the 500,000-1,000,000 people who marched to support choice and repro-rights last April, the million mom marching against handguns, the people who are opposed to the war, and the people opposed to the GOP/B/C in general a-la NYC RNC convention.
Surely that's 2M.

12. I am thinking a December visit to the capital... |
|
electoral college day and all.
In Eminem black hoodies!!
The only way a march of any kind will work is if we STAY and not leave until something changes.

15. Unfortunately most think "the people have spoken" |
|
and are swallowing the lie that this was a fair election.
And why shouldn't they? It's all most would know from the media reports.
