Are there any plans for protesting the Inauguration?
Whether it be anti-war or over the probable rigging of the election, has anyone heard any plans for January?

1. Some are thinking about it
Would it do any good? Only if millions came would it matter.

7. Didn't a lot come after the first election
I remember about the major security concerns at *'s first inauguration due to all the protesting. Remember how he was the first president to get inaugurated behind a glass wall.

Don't know of any solid plans yet, but there is lots of support for the idea.

5. CNN said "thousands" protested
That's true. But "hundreds of thousands" would have been more accurate, even if they didn't want to appear to be dissenting against His Chimperial Majesty by using an inflammatory phrase like "half a million."

Yessirree -- if you weren't there, or didn't watch C-Span, you would never know anything happened at the RNC except the unanimous adoration of Americans for this popular wartime president who holds such strong moral values.

Meanwhile, Judge Roy Moore got a couple dozen to stand outside the courtroom with him in Alabama on the Ten Commandments monument issue, and he got coverage on every network every night. They STILL give him a lot of face time on CNN, anytime a "freedom to force your religion on others" story comes up -- which is increasingly often.

Not that smirky intends to appoint activists judges to decide Constitutional issues on the side of fundamentalist zealots or anything :eyes:

8. http://www.unitedforpeace.org/
You might want to keep up with United for Peace and Justice -- I'm sure they'll organize an Inauguration Day protest.
