Something that may have hurt Kerry in Ohio
I came across a website that had the Gossip with Flo (it is on many African American radio shows in the mornings). Anyway, she was talking about Al Sharpton separating from his wife and the fact that he was in Ohio stumping for Kerry just prior to the election. Anyway, she said that Al and Kerry were in the same part of Ohio at the same time. Kerry had Al to go to an African American college or something and speak for him. Anyway, the people apprarently wanted to hear directly from Kerry and thought it was disrespectful of him to ignore them when he was in the immediate area. She said there was a BIG controversy about it and that probably hurt Kerry big time in Ohio. She said all the people there were registered and everything but they did not like the way Kerry treated them. ANyway, the link to the gossip with Flo is toward bottom of this link:

It is past the two American Idol interviews. Anyway, I'm wondering if Kerry would have won if he had reached out to the black community more. I just happened to stumble across this because I wanted to listen to the American Idol interviews. Then I listen to Flo occasionally and thought I would see what the latest gossip was. Never expected to hear anything about Kerry.

1. So Bush would be better because of this?
It would be the worst case of " Cutting off your nose to spite your face" I ever heard of.

Electronic voting is what hurt Kerry in Ohio.

Let's all navel-gaze later.

2. Of course! Claro que Si!
God knows as a black man that I'd rather have a proven facist idiot moron for President because he pretended to be be nice rather than John Kerry.

3. Well, but dems can only count on minority support
for so long while not actually addressing any of their issues with action before they lose support. Dem politicians talk a good game, but they don't really ever back it up with any real legislation. They take minorities for granted based on the fact that the other party is worse, but at some point those core constituencies just stay home and don't vote for them. That's why the lose more and more minority voters each time.

While it may seem petty not to vote for Kerry because he didn't show for an event, it is just a symptom of a bigger issue. If dems had been out there fighting for these constituents they probably wouldn't much care if Sharpton showed instead.

4. Let's start by making their vote count.
and while we're at it let's make everyone's vote count.

Don't fall into the Repubelickin trap of trying to figure out why we lost. Evidence shows every election since 2000 has been tampered with.
Evidence shows WE WON EVERY EFFING TIME! Let's figure that out first.

Work at getting rid of our faulty corrupt voting systems, if you don't, yer gonna drive yerself nuts trying to figure it out. ( or the deeply undercover operatives are going to drive us nuts.} Don't fall for this shit. concentrate on the vote. Time is wasting.

You are UNDERMINING the party when you try to figure out something that does not need to be figured out.

Get rid of the theft of elections and then we'll talk.
