2. Arlen Specter of PA is a pro-choice moderate.
I know that loony group Club For Growth tried to bring him down in the primary.

4. Sue Collins and Olympia Snowe.
I'm writing them today to remind them that it's time to do the right thing and move across the aisle. If they don't, they will lose their re-election bids.

5. and Olympia Snow
...and I think the other female senator from Maine is too...anyone?

Also, we need to start writing these Jim Jeffords type repub senators, AND represenatives, and ask them POLITELY to DEFECT to INDEPENDENT! The balance of power as we all know CAN NOT be in just ONE PARTY.

And while we're at it, we NEED to write EVERY person in congress, EVERY ONE OF THEM, and DEMAND a PAPER TRAIL to BBVoting AND DEMAND that an independent group of computer experts analize the programing on these damn machines.

7. If you expand that to include those who sometimes will buck their Party
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 11:11 AM by Tom Rinaldo
More names can be added. Who are the Non Kool Aid Republican Senators? Ones who on occasion will buck Bush on an important issue? That is not always the same thing as being "moderate".

the moderates are lincoln chafee although he doesn't really count since he doesn't support bush.

9. And when are they next due for election? Like Specter this year they...
probably will be targeted.

I know Jeffords is up on the next cycle '06.

Don't know about the others.
