Are you sorry you KNOW the truth?
Are there days when you wished you were like 99% of America PRETENDING it will all work out?

4. I have learned more than I really wanted to know about our
government over the last 4 years. It probably wouldn't be so bad if I thought we could fix it with reason and knowledge. But we can't. And it would help if I didn't feel crazy. Bush lies, I see the lie, but the media says it's the truth.

I feel like I'm in a science fiction movie for 4 years now. I wonder if 4 more years will drive me over the real insanity mark.

5. I don't know
I am glad to know the truth, but one needs to keep a bit of perspective as well. Frankly it increases one's effectiveness I think.

7. f* no on both your questions, eeeew. proud skinner allowed
the exit polls. for that to be issue on election day, and he decided to allow. we needed those, when brokaw say in the afternoon, we need to re do the exit polls. that was the beginning of knowing about the theft. if skinner hadnt allowed us to see those, then we would be in that la la land you talk. i am simply not afraid, or dismiss, shy away from, sheild eyes from truth

8. No because the evil is exposed
Before I had a darker picture of human nature, a rosier picture of the majority getting things right,. Now that it is tuned it is wisdom not despair. The weakness of the good, the horribly preventable machinations of the evil.

They don't know what they are doing. Except for the destruction part.

21. I'm with you.......
I just can't go on PRETENDING...while the rest of the world think americans are crazy for re-selecting *. It is very lonely...few know and the other side just dismisses us as CT or Unamerican.Even on DU so many really beleive this will work out. WHY? HE* has keep all his promises and we keep the rest for the next 4 years.Wait until he controls SCOTUS. 40 years of progress will be gone.

11. I choose the Truth and free will
We can only really have free will if we know the truth. If given the choice, I will choose the Truth. I am not afraid of the Truth anymore.

15. "The Curse of Clarity"....
A very long time ago a very wise DUer I can not recall started a thread about this subject as well. It was titled the curse of clarity. It was a wonderful thread and it is too bad it is now long lost in DU #1 archives.

I prefer to be in the smaller percentage of people who are aware of the dangerous times we are living in. I hope to use the knowledge to better prepare my children for their future.
