Anybody listening to "On the Media" (NPR)? |
|
They have a very telling story on right now re: censorship of the media during Bush's first term. Ashcroft has rendered more freedom of information restrictions than in the past 20 years. Even basic information about the Dept. of Defense that should be readily available to members of Congress has been suppressed. Sen. Leahy and others have had to SUE to try to get information.
Screw the bias of the media. The Bush admin. has systematically and purposefully restricted access to information! What a mess!

You mean the media that awaits each morning's GOP blastfax so they can get out the message of the day? Other than CBS which has been compromised by a right wing tactic, there is NO MEDIA. They are pandering to the unpopulated red states NOT the blue states, or should I say, blue counties. The dumbing down of America is frightening it's like, 1984, Farenheit 451, A Handmaid's Tale, Gattaca, come to life, and WE HAVE NO VOICE UNLESS WE SPEAK OUT!! The internet is our 1776 printing press. Let us be vigilant that this is not shut down and restricted.
