Now it's starting to get fun. The bad guys are scared shitless.
You can see it on TV: The wingnut pundits getting more shrill. In the paper: the whores spinning even more shamelessly than ususal. Even here: The rethugs and greens sending a troll a minute.

The best part of the whole thing is that none of it's working. Chimpy's numbers are dropping faster than teeth from a freepers mouth. Former Greens are coming home to the dems in droves. The Dem canidates are getting their messages out.

The more the enemy and their shills freak out, the more we should like it. And the more we should keep pouring it on.

> Bush will not get re-elected. Today, I am convinced.

Bush won't get more voters, but he may very well get "more votes",
and he's quite likely to get to be President again (I won't say
"re-elected", because he wasn't elected in the first place).

The reason he may get "more votes", are, of course, electoral
shenanigans, whether it's dis-enfranchising Democratic voters
(again) or through outright machine-based fraud.

The reason(s) he may get to be President again are the same
as last time: the mathematics of the Electoral College and the
fact that there are 3 absolutely reliable votes for him on the
Supreme Court (although I think the other 2 won't be so stupid
again).

21. the thing about vote fraud...
...is this --- the only way those sorts of frauds can work is if it is a close election. If things say remotely like they are now, I think a Dem can win by a pretty good margin.

... and this --- while I'm convinced that voting machine fraud has occured, it will be much harder to pull off now that we know what is going on. again, it might work, but only for small numbers of votes.

I am truly optimistic that we'll be rid of Bush* in 2004. What remains troubling is the amount of damage he's done in such a short time. It won't be easy to repair.

3. Baker
I was flipping channels and chanced across Fox News which I would never, ever watch but Baker was on ridiculing the Clinton foreign policy re N.Korea. The bushes never drag him out unless they're really, really in trouble. His message, too, was shrill. Poor old boozehound; looked like he'd had more than a few the night before.

4. Speaking of Labor Day...anyone notice how many people stayed home?
Or did they in your neighborhood? The malls and stores were practically empty in NJ and my relative in MD-DC area said the same thing. Not even lines at the discount gas stations. Could it be that Americans are gaining some sense and will no longer feed this bear?

18. The BBB
Baker, Babs, and Boyden. They are called out when the shit hits the fan. There were a few other times that I thought we'd see them but I guess it wasn't bad enough until now. That Baker was on Fox is a very good indicator of how worried they are.

10. Right. They can't seem to
handle pressure well. I've been following the news on Stratfor.com, and their take is that the non-stop poundings that they've been taking over the W-M-D thing has sent them into a tailspin.

I finally figured out what all the secrecy has been about. It appears they can't take any criticism!! They're melting like ice cream in sunshine.

YES keep the pressure on. They're currently in a state of disarray, according to ex-CIA people.

Now, be on the lookout for another "distraction", and if one goes down, we must launch an all-out informational assault instantly to beat back the lies.

It's time to re-tax the rich and get our revolution back on track. We had the tact right from 1992 to 2000 and it's past time to fill the coffers.

and create eight years of peace and prosperity.

As far as the current chimpyness goes, since we're sending 22,000K a yerar privates to do the dying, Ken Lay ought to at least help pay the bills.

28. Absolutely.
Anyone who says wanton deregulation works can just look at Chimpy's economy.

If he and poppy were president since the beginning of the country, you can bet on two things, statistically: There'd be no regulation. And nobody would ever habe had a job!!!

The government's job is to play an active roll to fill in the gaps that the free market invariably creates and to ensure that everyone has access to capitalism's benefits. That's what TBD did (with the exception of NAFTA which was a mistake, IMHO) and things were never better. Ever.

Chimpy lets his buddies run rampant and look what happens. Negative job growth. Increases in poverty. Higher cable, gas, and energy prices. What a polictmaking joke the republican party is.
