1. I am not watching either, neither is my uncle or my mom and step-dad.
It was at this time I wish we were a Nielsen family. I want corporate news to get the picture that they suck.

3. They not only suck but I feel what they have done is treasonous.
They should have a responsibly to the American people and keeping them informed on the issues. But then again what is the difference between state owned media and corporate owned media.

2. I'm not watching either
And I am willing to bet that there are millions like us. I was wondering how their ratings were fairing also?

5. Not watching either.
We will continue to watch Jon Stewart and Bill Maher. I can't even watch Keith Olbermann because he's on MSSLOP, although if my withdrawals continue I may cave for Keith. ;-)

There was a thread here yesterday that said Randi Rhodes had more listeners (not sure what day, or if it was more than one day) than CNN and MSSLOP combined.

6. I'm a Nielsen family next week.
No news shows. Period.
I will however be watching The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, Food TV, HGTV, Court TV, and maybe Animal Planet.

9. Me too...
The only news I will get is from the INTERNET. It's actually fun
to turn on music when I'm working instead of the talking heads.
I think a whole lot of people like us can't bear listening any more
and indeed, I hope they feel it in their ratings. I've been glued
to the 24/7 channels since the Clinton impeachment and it's not as
hard as I thought it would be to break my old habit.

12. Just put a "block" on the cable news networks .....
You can set your home controls to block the stations, exactly as if they were porn stations and you're a worried parent shielding your innocent kiddies. If we all did it and made a big noise about it...to cable providers, cable news networks and most importantlly,, cable news network advertisers...we might get some serious attention.

15. Not watching either...
I was previously hooked on the talking head shows...ardball, Aaron Brown, etc. Now I can't bear to watch any of it. Don't listen to NPR any longer either. Just Air America, "the internets" and the newspaper. I'm spending a hell of a lot of time on DU though....
