Is it me, or have there been a rash of job cuts in the blue states since
the election? Is this how the corportheocracy is going to punish the blue states? Are the jobe moving to the "red states" or just out of the country or out of existence?

1. I don't know but here's a DU thread to go to...Support our own States....
Add your state to the list and do a Google for "Products made in (your state's name). You are likely to get a list of products made in your state and can sort through to see who the local people are who are trying to make a living by selling locally grown or made products.

2. Not that I've seen - do you have any examples?
One of the biggest announcements was SBC stating that they're cutting 10,000 jobs by the end of '05. SBC is big in the red states.

Office Depot (based in Florida) cut 900 jobs.

Those were two of the bigger ones I've seen since Tuesday.

3. Don't think it's just blue states. We've had a few jobs leave her in Texas
as well, BELA (Dallas Morning News) laid off a hundred or so workers and recently, SBC will lay off workers in Dallas as well.

4. The last time these monopolists gave a rat's ass
about the red states was about 5 seconds after the emancipation proclamation. They're shipping jobs to countries that still practice slavery, pure and simple.

6. It's Everywhere
every city, every county, every state.

This sad state of affairs is what woke me up to what's going on. From there, I never looked back. Read every damned thing I could get my hands on, and am still flabbergasted that the incurious refuse to see the damning evidence right in front of their faces.

5. Wait until the big pre-Christmas dump...
I have a feeling it's going to be particularly bad this year.
