One day George will come to the startling realization that Cheney and a couple of others have played him. Used him. Turned him into the most reviled man in the world. Fed him lies and puffery. Allowed him to muck up the planet for their gain. He's rapidly becoming an albatross to the neocons, the GOP, and his own family.

When will this dawn on him?

And what will he do about it?

You're forgetting that one must possess insight to make those connections. Bush has none.

Besides, this is a pretty sweet gig. Why would he blow it by having an attack of conscience?

And I'm not saying he'll have an attack of conscience. I think he'll have an attack of pure terror. Those who put him where he is can pretty much do what they will with him.

that we're all trying to figure out what goes on in this man's head. I still haven't figured it out.

However, I can say with some assurance that this is not a happy or a fulfilled man. If you look closely, the right corner of his mouth has been drooping more and more these past few months.

When he announced that the bombing in Iraq would start, I was amazed at how bad he looked. Especially the right side of his face (which is controlled by the emotions). I put a mirror up to his face so it reflected the right side doubled, and he looked like a broken, shattered man.
