6. I watched it last night

And I thought Maher missed Andrew Sullivan's point entirely.

Sullivan said you cannot go on insulting red-state folks and expect them to vote for you.

Maher got pissed because he thought Sullivan was saying you shouldn't insult what the red-state Bush voters did.

But Sullivan was simply saying was that if you want to insult them, don't expect them to vote for your candidate.

I just think he missed Sullivan's point. Sullivan wasn't defending all that shit. He was saying that you can't insult a class of people and then hope they vote for your guy -- which is just common sense.

He seems less intelligent than the freepers.
