Just stomached some of Tweety's show he says he thinks JK
will run again in 2008. The rest of the panel disagreed.

2. American doesn't deserve Kerry
Kerry would've made a FANTASTIC president.
Who knows about 2008...I highly doubt it, but I'd welcome it. I just want my country back ;(

13. Here's the thing
The instant Kerry conceeded, I was all over him. I was fucking PISSED. I thought he turned his back to us too. I couldn't understand why he gave up after ALL WE DID FOR HIM.
And then I came to the conclusion that he was crushed...and I totally understood that. How can a courageous, brave, moral man like him loose to a fucking monkey?
I tell you, if I was in his shoes, I wouldn't be standing here typing this. I would literally die.
I'm still upset about it of course, but I think I understand why he did it.

23. You have it right.
And I really don't think he's playing 007, going undercover to expose voting fraud. Those of you who think so, are you enjoying your dip in that big river in Egypt?

If it turns out I'm wrong, I'll apologize profusely.

It's pretty sad that a sick, disabled woman is still working her ass off while Kerry crawls under a rug to hide.

15. I agree with you
And I only came to believe that during this camaign.

I was very down on Kerry during the primaries.

But he won me over.

(And I'm more convinced right now that he really won this election)

and I say YES! to Kerry in 2008. It will give us a real aire of integrity - standing by the same guy we stood by four years ago. It would keep the newly energized from this race a chance to "set things right." And to those who actually did vote against him this time - well, the mud has been slung - there ain't no more - and those people get a second chance to vote for Kerry.

I think his campagn theme should be, "can you hear me NOW?"

YES! KERRY IN 2008! (if not 2004!)

10. I quite agree that nothing Tweety says is worth listening to.
And I'd support Kerry in a heartbeat.

This may not be popular with some, but we had a great candidate, and ran a good campaign.

The problem is that we're not willing to be complete psychopaths to win, and we were up against zillions of pod-people who went around saying, "Bush is a man of God. Bush is a man of God."

O.K., maybe we're a bunch of thinking, intellectual elites.

Why should I be ashamed of that again?

25. And that's the secret.
"The problem is that we're not willing to be complete psychopaths to win."

The question I asked MOST OFTEN during the campaign: "Does Kerry REALLY understand what it means to go up against Karl Rove? Does he REALLY understand who he's dealing with?"

I called into the Guy James Show this afternoon, and said that:

1). We need a national, 24-hour a day "mechanism" to communicate our message. The far right has Hannity and Rush. WE need OUR "Hannity" and "Rush." Air America is there but they are reaching a "niche market." To reach liberal / Democratic audience on a LARGE scale, they need to sand off a few of the rough edges. On some days, tuning into Air America is like being locked in a room with school kids who have had too much sugar. On other days they are on message, hard hitting, and deadly. I wish them luck in being successful if they try to go to both extremes.

2). WE NEED A KARL ROVE. I thought James Carville was gonna be it. I was wrong. You can read about Carville's participation in the current Newsweek and believe what you want to believe, but WE NEED A KARL ROVE. "The problem is that we're not willing to be complete psychopaths to win"...when you are dealing with a guy like Rove who will do ANYTHING to win, you need someone who will do ANYTHING to BEAT Rove.

Guy's response: "We have four years to make that happen."

9. He won't get my vote
UNLESS he's in the process of investigating this debacle. If he gets the evoting machines out of our election process and is prez in 2005, I will vote for him for re-election. If he does NOTHING now? He can kiss my ass.

Those who think he is behind the scenes fixing things...I think you're in that big river in Egypt.

I would love to be wrong, but I don't think I am.

If--as I suspect--he goes quietly into that good night he will never get my vote, not even in a general election.

27. By 2008, it will be the ultimate
And OBVIOUS "I told you so!"

By 2008, We'll have lost another 4000 brave soldiers and marines, the economy will have stagnated (not yet tanked....but the rats will be leaving the ship), and the cultural divisions will be profound, agonizing, and violent.

John Kerry may well be the only person left who can revive our republic. Hillary won't cut it, and I'm waiting to hear from the reddish-purple states on who they'd nominate....

Just watch JK hold Bush's feet to the fire for the next three years, and THEN judge!

Still a believer-
Kurt
