2. I agree

In some ways maybe its more tragic. On 9/11, 19 people caused the deaths of 3000 innocents.

On 11/2, 59 million people endorsed the deaths of 100,000 innocents.

4. Depends.......

if it can be objectively deciphered that the Republican Party stole the election, and I think that is the true suspect here, not Bush per se...

Yes...this will be more important and earth shattering to our threatened Republic than anything even remotely related to criminal domestic or international terrorism aimed at us.

5. Yes, I can agree that 11/2 changed everything.
I never bought in to the "9/11 changed everything". IMO, it changed only people's perceptions and awareness. As far as it changing the world, it didn't. Terrorists existed before 9/11 and after 9/11. They had hit us before - just not on that large of a scale.

11/2 changed our country at its roots. It effectively gave credence to the ones currently in power. As the *idiot said, it gave him capital. It has changed the direction of our country and its core values. Basically, to me, it says that it doesn't matter what wrongs you do as long as you profess to be a "Godly" person. It says that it is even more true now that the way to get ahead is to lie, cheat, steal, and step on everyone you can to get there. It says that we do not care about our poor, sick, and elderly. It says that we are out to rule the world with our "freedom". If others in the world don't agree with our definition of freedom, we will bomb and kill them into agreeing.

For those of us who do not agree with the new values of our country, it has made us a new place - one that is more important than any I have ever had. It has made it imperative that I, and others like me, continue to speak out and do everything in our power to change it back.

We, as a minority, have become an oppressed people. We must fight to gain back our rights, our freedoms, and our vision that places our country on the path to peace.
