I don't really know what to think of this Terry McAuliffe e-mail:
How the FUCK can they send out an e-mail asking "Did you feel the action you took was effective? Was it a good experience for you?" when George W. Bush has been handed four more years to destroy life as we know it?

No, Terry, it was a fucking MISERABLE experience for me when I turned on my TV and saw Andy Card declaring George W. Bush the winner. Thanks for your concern. Now BITE me.

POUND these cluess fucks with your feedback. McAuliffe says "Tell us your thoughts?"

TELL HIM.

Dear ,

I want to thank you for everything you've done over the course of this campaign. Time and time again we asked for your help, and you were always there for us.

Even though we didn't win back the White House, you created something historic. Our grassroots campaign of hope and optimism was unprecedented in American politics. More than 1 million volunteers made 11 million person-to-person, door-to-door contacts, and made 38 million phone calls to voter in battleground states.

If you were involved in these grassroots activities, we want to hear from you about your experience. What did you do? Did you feel the action you took was effective? Was it a good experience for you? How would you make it better?

Tell us your thoughts.

http://www.democrats.org/feedback/

We plan to use your feedback to help develop our strategy in 2005. As always, you will continue to play a critical role in the future of the Democratic Party. What we created together will be the backbone for Democratic victories in the future.

You and I know that this fight is not over. We will never waver when it comes to defending our values and fighting for what we know is right.

Again, thank you for helping create something special.

Sincerely,
Terry McAuliffe
Chairman

3. I filled out that feedback form . I told them a piece of my mind ...
I think McAuliffe must be fired . Its time to clean house . This is what I sent in my feedback :

I think we should actually FIGHT . When are going to stop being defeated . This should be the FINAL WAKE UP CALL . We were defeated in 2002 . Either we fight now , change the leadership of the Democratic National Committee or completely give up . Those that don't want to give up should call themselves Democrats . We should not be forced to Unite with the Right as a message of unity because that would be okaying the BS that happened during this election . We should fight . The word is FIGHT . Every vote was not counted on Tuesday night , we all know that . So stand up for us and get those votes counted !

We need new leadership and new blood in the Democratic Party or just disband ... plain and simple . We need someone who is just as evil as Karl Rove . We need new young blood in this party . Include everybody , not just some people who you think will include you in their cabinets if they win the White House . Come together right now - or just don't talk at all !

This was the first time I voted in my life . I am 24 years old . I was looking forward to election day like it was Christmas Day . I was so excited the day that I got my Voter's Registration Card in the mail . I did not sleep the night before the election because I was so excited about voting the next day . I woke up at 5:30 am to go to my polling station . I stood in line until my polling station opened . I then walked 3 miles back home proud because I voted for John Kerry - the man destined to be the President of the United States . I do not understand what happened . This was a good campaign . The message was clear - the War in Iraq was going in the wrong direction , the economy is bad , jobs are still disappearing ( in NC I hear of factories laying off people left and right each day ) , health care is just too expensive - the list goes on and on - it was time for new leadership to come to Washington , DC . But instead apparently Gay Marriage seemed more important than kids getting school books and cough medicine . I just don't get it . What the hell happened ? I can not believe that we are facing another 4 years of Bush . I don't think I can go through this . And sadly , I think the current so called Democratic Opposition that we have in Congress are weak - they are going to bow to Bush and let him get away with everything - exactly how they let him get away with everything the first 4 years . It does not matter how much of a minority the Democrats may have in the House and Senate , the people are with you , if only you will wake up and FIGHT .

I was ( and still am ) distraught , sad and shocked at what happened on election day as is many other Americans . I live in the state of North Carolina - a state with many voter irregularities . I do not understand how the state of North Carolina was called for Bush when people in my city were still waiting in long lines , waiting to vote . The streets in my town were so empty that night . It was as if there was a snow storm had covered the roads - except there was not snow - people were still at polling stations at 9 PM when it was declared that Bush was the winner of NC . I do not believe that Bush won NC in the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections . I also know of many voter irregularities in other counties across the state of North Carolina . This election was not fair at all . I do not understand why everyone is in a rush for the results of the election . Yes it is declared in the Constitution of the United States of America that the election must be held on the first Tuesday of November - no where is it stated that the results have to be known that night . And when did the US Media become offical election controllers - they have NO RIGHT to project the outcome of any race . They have no right to take the place of state election officals and proclaiming winners . What happened to the Early Voting ballots ? Why were they not counted yet ? The entire month of October , the state of NC held Early Voting : why are these ballots not counted each night and stored ? Why are absentee ballots not opened and counted until days after the election ? If these votes are not included in the official election results then these results are not official ! Its plain and simple ! And 64% does not equal 100% ! If every precint has not yet gave results , you can not declare a winner . There has to be changes . Big changes . This has to start now .

I see that you are offering this questionarie , which I think this is a good idea . I hope this is not in vain . I pray that you read EACH AND EVERYTHING THAT WE DEMOCRATS WRITE ! READ IT AND BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE DEMOCRATS IN AMERICA AND AROUND THE WORLD THAT ARE READY TO FIGHT ! WE ARE READY TO ROLL , BUT WE WILL NOT WAIT ON YOU THE DNC ANY LONGER , WE ARE PREPARED TO TAKE ON THIS FIGHT ALONE .

9. I did not mean be evil in Karl Rovian tactics ...
Heck no , I am the last person to promote evil . I am talking about fighting the smart way with our brains . Fight does not always mean with violence , fighting works with knowledge as well .

12. OK our Representative race
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 11:57 PM by PATRICK
They left our youngest candidate in a tough race with a campaign manager of the same age. Not that that mattered but no one was on hand when the GOP guy easily stuttered through the Rove primer(actually a much older basic technique) of turning a scandal into a minus for Barend for revealing it(some jerk supporter got hands on the accidentally released divorce papers and dumped it on the net without thinking it was NOT the same situation as Ryan in Michigan). It almost could have been a set up, so beautifully did they flounder into a non issue.

The kids, some from NYC canvassed and re-canvassed the stubborn insulated GOP districts. It looked like the usual GOTV was on a professional par with the Dean campaign in Iowa. passionate, energetic, through. meetings, fundraising, pamphlets, stickers and signs. Without that incident that took a big toll on TV with negative ads by Kuhl using his own divorce scandal, it might have been as close as I was told it was going to be. I tried not to communicate my skepticism. I noticed that our neighbor facing Reynolds fared no better, an even more conservative candidate, since his Democrat balance was bigger to begin with. The newspapers fell behind us in their withering hatred for Albany boss Kuhl but they had to report the dirty campaigning mess and the debates(as usual in newspapers) were washed out in mind impact. The starchy thought challenged good folk had their vote decision then devoid of real issues and boasted righteous simplicity against Barend.

Stealth Democrats washed out by the national spotlight. It was lousy not being in a battleground state. At least there were no e-voting machines.

I saw old techniques in uphill territory(literally, my God I am glad I am not the walking route mailman in those towns). More Kerry signs than Bush(Kerry lost here but did well, better I think than Barend).

How do I think it went? NY was a free state hidebound by a disastrous Democratic leadership. The opportunity was deliberately left pretty fallow, the gerrymandering by scum Cheney intact. The machines are coming to the dinosaur minds, two thirds of the triumvirate trying to raise us the universally despised Pataki.

What happened to that technique and energy and strategy Kerry used in Iowa? The eggs in the battleground baskets were robbed right under their eyes. In our state they were left for the foxes.

It wouldn't be so bad if the new machines would give us a chance to conduct politics again(even as usual) but they won't. I can give the Dems a million votes by opposing fraud. That simple concept was the first I harped on and on and on at Democrats.com. The hacks blew it off and the GOP perverted the need and institutionalized better fraud.

I say make MacAuliffe an honorary GOP chairman.

14. OK I got lost
Simply said there should have been instant good advice to Barend on that dirt issue right from the moment they went trolling for evidence. If they did or if they didn't the DNC should be purged. You don't let young House candidates hang like that. Or give them stupid advice, whichever happened.

That raced hinged on both creating noticeable excitement to wake up the ignored area AND avoiding distracting negatives. A nightmare.

16. McAuliffe is a corporate stooge...
...and he'll stay in place, as long as he serves his corporate masters. They like him, because he keeps their people in power.

The best thing we can do, is stay true to ourselves, and quit looking for help from the party "leaders". We need to carry through with things like corporate/business product boycotts, and to get that type of info. out to other Democrats so that we can empower them to also join the boycotts. Corporate America lives off selling products. If we effect their bottom line, then they will be the ones to get rid of McAuliffe, because he would no longer be able to control his constituancy. McAuliffe is nothing but a prop.

17. I told him I was busy. :)
Terry,

I'd be happy to talk to you about the future of our party at some
point, but at present I'm investigating the massive computer
fraud that was perpetrated on the American people on Tuesday,
perhaps you've heard of it? I'll direct you to one of the primary
information clearinghouses involved in this effort:

http:/blackboxvoting.org

You might also want to check:

http://democraticunderground.com

As you know, the electoral college will be meeting on Dec. 12, so
our efforts to unmask the guilty parties in this election fraud
must not be slowed down for any reason, so I'll have to get back
to you.

Sincerely,

--
Billy O'Connor
