OK Dems, change your registration to Republican. |
|
We have to fight them with their own MO. If 50% of the Dems change their registration, we can control the state and local elections and screw up the exit polls in the national election in 2008. We need to infiltrate the mega evangelical churches, re-register as Republican, stop spending our money and save it for the work that lies ahead as well as for our own families and the needy.

1. That actually isn't a bad idea. Especially for the primaries. We could |
|
pick the worst candidate they have running. I think you're on to something.

the registrations got processed. No torn up registrations or voter challenges, for sure.

6. And if all DUers re-registered in Nevada for the election |

we could pick up 5 electoral votes. Easily.

7. I was actually thinking of doing this to protect my vote |
|
not to throw a wrench in the works for the GOP but so that maybe my ballot is more apt to be processed when I vote absentee. Probably would not help :(

8. I suggested this after the 2002 defeats... |

infiltrate the party, and destroy them from within. I thought that if all the democrats in the house and senate changed to republicans, all the power and leverage of "them vs. us" would vanish. "Our" guys, meaning sane, liberal, thoughtful & kind people, could provide an excellent base for the more normal, non-neocon Republicans to join with and thus expose and MARGINALIZE the radical, wacky, uber-right neocons.
There are not that many neocons (though their numbers are growing), truly, and there are also, I think, a large number of republicans in the party who are more moderate but who lack the courage to vote that way b/c of the Rove slime machine. By democrats joining the republicans, the moderate republicans would have a strong base from which we could join together to neuter the neocons because I don't think the old-style, Eisenhower republicans like these neocon fascists.
We take their name and use it for our purposes and we neutralize it.
Besides, Rove et al would go apeshit trying to figure out what to do next. Could be fun to watch, at the very least.

9. Too easily 'lose-lose' countered with "Tit for Tat" strategy. |

At its logical extreme, it would merely result in a meaningless label swap. Folks in 'open primary' states can vote in Republican primaries irrespective of their registation anyway.

10. My state has open primaries. |
|
I can vote in the Repuke primary any time I want. I don't need to do anything to vote in their primary. I just can't vote in my own if I do.
I've done it many times in the past. I've voted for their tinfoil hat conspiracists, their racists and their lunatic religionistas. In fact, I've probably voted in more Repuke primaries than Dem.
It's great fun to see the Repuke powers agonizing over the fringe candidates that are attracted to their 'party'.
