MEET the Ohio Leslie clan.............truly scary!
A 27/29 year old couple who have 3 kids and want another. He was a car salesman making $55K yearly until 9-11 and is now making about $35K....Supplements their income with pizza delivery... They love Bushit, opposed to abortion, want a FMA to pass and Like Scalia and Thomas on the high Court and want more like them.
They felt validated when Bushit won and Kerry conceded.

I have no clue how you fight this. The 'value voters' go to church at least once a week and that is the only think that is important. They want everyone to beleive/live they way they do and damn anyone whom doesn't.
BTW 15% of them beleive their financial situation is WORSE than 4 years ago and 66% think the war in Iraq is going FINE!

1. I had the misfortune of meeting
these airhead dipshits in another thread yesterday. Got flamed by a troll when I suggested that after another year under the chimp Mr. Leslie may be trading in that Pizza delivery outfit for Army fatigues and preparing for a stint in Iraq - while nice, churchgoing Mrs. Leslie may be reduced to strutting her stuff at a strip club on the edge of town. Jesus will forgive her though, and be a great source of comfort when she returns home one night and finds a couple of men in uniform waiting by the front door.

7. OMG - the stripper thing is so damn true...
I had a repug neighbor in military housing - she HATED Clinton. Clinton-bashed every chance she got (because of Lewinsky thing) watched faux 24/7.

weeeellllll - story in a nutshell: hubby busted with prostitute, thousands in debt, discharge from service (officer's pay too :), ugly divorce. But through all this she looses a TON of weight and starts stripping to pay the bills (two small kids).

And I'm sure she jumped on that THK bashing bandwagon too.

3. These morons were in the Washington Post
Said something about how they're not worried about their money problems because they pray for what they need.

At some point you just have to give up and hope that some people simply get what they deserve.

6. you don't, you just plain walk away
That is the Midwest fundamentalist Christian and the denial is so thick they won't get it even if they are living in some cardboard boxes without any food.

It's like a massive block of conrete surrounding their soul so they don't have to deal with their own fears, emotions, anything I would call real.

I called it the living dead when I was in the Midwest.

Not my America and I honestly think if you ask most, they couldn't
name one part of the declaration of independence, the constitution or the bill of rights.
