I call upon all DU members to write George at the links above, and ask him to help our cause.

He can buy the damn companies!

He can offer rewards for people to step forward with knowledge of the cheating that transpired!

John

3. Why, so the Democrats can cheat?
It's not up to George Soros. It's up to YOU to stop the damn electronic voting in the first place.

18. Call me a freeper....ha!!
I'm not the one suggesting the continuance of computerised machines that CAN BE MANIPULATED BY EITHER SIDE!!! Do you know how easy it is to hack a Microsoft Access database? Do you want these machines in precincts where Joe Lieberman or Zell Miller are running? Huh?

The whole concept of voting machines is FLAWED. If you don't get that, then you'll always be at the mercy of cheats. You need a VERIFIABLE VOTE THAT IS NOT CONTROLLED BY A CORPORATION OF ANY KIND.

Jeezus you people are your own worst enemy!!!

19. Yeah, buddy - I'm a freeper.
I'm not the one suggesting the continuance of computerised machines that CAN BE MANIPULATED BY EITHER SIDE!!! Do you know how easy it is to hack a Microsoft Access database? Do you want these machines in precincts where Joe Lieberman or Zell Miller are running? Huh?

Or maybe you just want the corporate dollars to bribe the Democratic side of politics too. George Soros seems like a nice man but I've never met him and only a COMPLETE MORON puts the trust of his country's vote in the hands of ANY private individual.

The whole concept of voting machines (especially when owned by corporations or private individuals) is FLAWED. If you don't get that, then you'll always be at the mercy of cheats. You need a VERIFIABLE VOTE THAT IS NOT CONTROLLED BY A CORPORATION OF ANY KIND, USING TECHNOLOGY THAT IS COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT. That is, a fucking pencil and a fucking piece of paper.

Jeezus - you people are your own worst enemy!!!

16. No, we could just tell repukes that we plan to deliver electoral
votes to democrats and listen to them scream. Do you think they would go down quietly if some democrat promised to do that using democratic made voting machines?

8. Though I'm not real good at reading a balance sheet
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=DBD

It looks like it could cost a minimum of $580M (to buy >50% of stock) and maybe as much as $2B (total assets of the company).

That's a fair amount of money...

9. Nothing on the Balance Sheet Matters. Check the Market Cap...
on the summary page. That's the value of all the shares of common stock in the company.

Market Cap: 3.74B

So 50% would be about $1.87B today. But if someone like Soros started a hostile take over, that number could easily increase by 50-100%.

There are better plans to fix election fraud.

15. Yes, it's a lot of money, but he must have some rich friends somewhere
Either buy the damn machines, or else offer the mother of all rewards for people who step forward.

17. I don't know if they are public or not, but I know he can do something
Just imagine if we could get 55,000+ members of DU to write him and ask him to do this.

or offer a reward of $10,000,000 for anyone involved to step forward and provide proof.

Wow!

13. even if he did a hostile takeover could not work
they just get another company and another contract to do the machines
leaving Soros stuck with a major financial loss because his take overs tank upon acquistion.
