"Are we going to have to hear this for 4 years?"
That was Washington Journal host's response to a Florida woman calling to express her fears about election fraud. I'm going to complain to C-Span. Will that do any good?

7. I don't think they are.
They are supposed to appear neutral, but sometimes their bias slips out.

9. Yeah! Who said this?
Most C-SPAN hosts take the "no editorializing rule" too far sometimes.

A couple of weeks ago, Brian "Spineless" Lamb was taking a call from a tearful woman whose son had just been blown to bits on a Hummer in Iraq. You would have thought he was listening to a menu of options from the computer at his bank.

8. Short answer: yer goddam RIGHT we're going to have to hear this!
Just the way we've been hearing that Clinton is the antichrist for fourteen years.

dbt

PS: Complaining to any of the Media Borg will do even less good, now that bu$h's "mandate" is in place.

10. After the LAST selection, Brian Lamb was very pissed at the callers
A caller called in one day, and Brian went ballistic..(paraphrasing)

"Caller, it's been almost SIX MONTHS, why can't 'you people' get over this?"

I had to turn the tv off.:grr:

11. Someday our focus will have to be on the future.
Whether that happens sometime in the next four years is anybody's guess.

12. Just say "I can't EVER get over losing my right to vote!"
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 11:23 AM by demodonkey
Rigged "elections" = NO VOTE = NO DEMOCRACY

NOTHING else you do politically matters -- if the elections are rigged "they" will always win no matter what "we" do
