Significant voting reforms by 2008, or I won't waste my time voting again
1) Paper receipts
2) Machine auditing
3) Ability to register on election day in all 50 states
4) A stop to the f*cking 9 hour waits!!
5) Public disclosure of how Diebold is in bed with Bush

Without the above reforms, I will not waste my time voting. Why should I and others wait in line for over 4 hours if our votes won't even count?

1. Man
I feel ya. A lot of damage was done in this election. I feel if K/E doesn't do something, people won't get out and vote at all.

2. Oh no.
That is giving up and rolling over, and that ain't no blow against no empire. That is what they desire. Passivity. Weakness. Surrender.

You have convinced me of nothing.

3. Well, we can do our part too.
Make a noise, especially to those purportedly on our side with the information.

We are the new Paul Reveres.

4. Rush Holt's bill was co-sponsored by a majority of the House
Delay didn't allow a vote on it. It won't happen now. But we need to push and push and push - this little movie may come in handy:

I am not even thinking voting, campaigns now - it's like planning a roof while pouring the foundation.

9. I agree...

If we are gonna roll over and give it to the conservative monkeys and they aren't going to fight for votes to be counted correctly, count me out next election too. I will probably vote, but I am not going to waste my time in knocking on doors and getting out the vote.
