Why didn't Sean P.D. Colmes endorse Kerry? |
|
Did it ever occur to him he just might be recruting those little GOP bu$h loving "youth" on his GOTV effort and they ended up not only registering to vote for the first time but voted for bu$h instead of Kerry? What is wrong with people who want change but don't have the guts to endorse a candidate who represents change? It's always a "non-partisan" get out the vote.... and that may have resulted in getting out the vote for bu$h instead. I was reading on that Vote Or Die website some of the posts from these kids and they admitted they voted for the first time and voted for chimpy. Thanks Sean. Your hard work paid off.....for republicans. :puke:

1. His goal was to get people involved. |

endorsing one candidate may have closed some doors to him.

I accidentally caught him on one of those infotainment shows, and he said "if you aren't happy with the winner, you should have voted more".
Clearly, this guy is a few beers short of a six pack. :eyes:

Everything non-partisan gets portrayed as some sort of liberal communist plot. I'm pretty damn sick of it.

7. On Fox last night they singled out P Diddy and others by name |
|
and gave them a thumbs down rating, specifically for P Diddy they gave him a thumbs down for his get out the vote effort. I don't know about you, but if Fox is giving him the thumbs down you can pretty much say that he was on our side. They lumped him in there with Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, et al.

8. Don't mess with my Man Sean Combs! |

He did it the smart way! He didn't have to come out for Kerry, he realized that if we got out the vote, Kerry would win.
Why in hell would you think that he would be asking Black poor kids to vote for Kerry?
I registered over 1300 African Americans. One thing was constant. When ever I talked to the " VOTE or DIE" tee shirt wearers, they knew all the issues, they knew that Bush was an idiot and they were strong supporters of Kerry's.
Find an enemy someplace else, but the enemy is not P. Diddy. Look for them in the WH. Circle all those who spell their name ROVE.

11. No it didn't. those are freepturds posting there. |

His org was a non-profit Citizen Change.
My theory, and I would love to be wrong about it, is that he didn't want to spend too much of his own money and be accused of being a Soros type, so he felt this was the best way to go. There are many black americans who will vote repuke because of religious reasons or because they have earned enough money to not be adversley affected by republican policies or both, and maybe he didn't want to offend them.
It's sad that because of fraud Puffy's slogan may be "vote AND die"
and 21 million young people did vote, so MTV surpassed it's goal, they have been running commercials telling young people not to believe the press which is suppressing the youth vote story for whatever twisted reason.
And there is no guarantee that Puffy endorsing Kerry wouldn't have driven way more freeperkkkinden to the polls than his remaining non-partisan
