I actually expect that maybe there is a good reason for concern for the safety of the asswipe.

How safe would you feel if you'd pissed off the CIA and the intelligence guys? Remember, they brought down Nixon and a few others. Remember, these guys have access to stuff that the James Bond stories can't even touch. Remember, those same guys with nifty toys got left out to dry with both the Plame leak and the entire blame for our little foray into Iraq.
