How big do you think the protests will be at the inauguration?
I'm betting the media won't be able to hide them this time.

1. Protests? There won't be any protests...
I'm sure I will turn on my tv and there will be our president elect speaking to adoring throngs and massive crowds of cheering citizens. I mean there couldn't possibly be things they aren't showing us, could there be?

2. Wanna bet?
They'll be huge, but CNN and their ilk will say only "hundreds" came out, etc.

4. We need our own media to cover it.
Michael Moore needs to be there with his camera crews.

5. They won't be allowed within miles of a camera
or the parade route.

They'll be in free speech pens about a mile away being pepper sprayed.

6. Bush supporters will be allowed on the route...
...after a background check, and the required Bush pledge, they'll be allowed to buy a ticket to stand on the parade route.

7. The protests will be inconsequential--unless...
solid proof of election fraud is produced. In that case, the protest will be massive.

10. Well...
...solid proof of the damage of Bush's policies should be enough to drive us all into the streets en masse, not to mention even if there were not voting fraud involved, squeaking by to a 51% margin of victory is not a mandate of the people and we need to pour into the streets to let the world know it.

9. No Loyalty Oath? No Access!
I believe loyalty oaths will be required to attend the inauguration, or, for the first time in history, it will be a private inauguration (although Bush claims to have the "will of the people" at his back, lol).

However, protests don't have to be in Washington, DC only. I'm hoping for huge simultaneous nationwide protests on the scale of the ones held on Feb. 15th 2003 and also the New York one while the RNC was in town.

12. Depends on whether they can block all the roads into DC, and ship the
residents out of town like he did at Goree Island.

I'm not going to take any bets on the media. Who knows? * may settle for a quiet little affair with only those who those willing to sign a loyalty oath in blood. Terrorist threats you know. Got to keep the supreme commander safe and sound.

I would be amazed if he has the guts to even drive down Pennsylvania Ave.

See you there at the party.
