I'm nervous too and I keep saying the same thing...surely they CAN'T BE THIS NAIVE' to not think this election stinks to high heavens. I would like to think they are looking over all the data people are pounding them with, if not then I will join in the "Kerry is a coward" column. Until then, patience...I know, I'm dying too, but keep the faith. :D

I admit to being inexperienced at this, and I didn't really pay attention last time, so is it normal for all of our leaders to just go quietly into that (black) night?

WE ARE IN DISTRESS! I want to believe that there is some sort of endgame being played out even now, but each passing day just makes me feel more and more foolish. I realize that, like someone said on another thread, WE are the Democrats, and WE must stand and fight, but it is very disheartening to see our leaders turn their backs on 55 million of us, like we don't even exist anymore.

What is going on? Why can't just one of them show his face?

I trust the man who took down BCCI. He knows what he's doing. I really believe that.

Listen, nothing is happening now that wouldn't be happening after an outright Kerry win. We have time. Nader, Badnarik, and Cobb are stepping up to challenge NH and Ohio. Rove can't unleash a PR Blitzkrieg on them the way he certainly would if John Kerry stepped up at this moment. We must be patient. They know more than we do about the situation.

I trusted John Kerry enough to vote for him for president. I certainly trust him enough to navigate his way through this minefield we're in right now.
