You will have to go county by county, I can't find a page where they are all listed together.

These show the counties, but don't break down any further than that.

3. I haven't been able to find data that granular yet.
So far I've checked the Santa Fe county clerk website and the Bernalillo county clerk website. The data that each county posts on their individual website seems to vary. Should we hunt through the entire list of counties? Anyone wanna help, we can split up the list?

If you wanna help, post here to tell us you're doing it, start from the bottom and work up. Google "countyname" and "elections clerk" or "county clerk" to find their website and then look around.

edited to add: even if you don't find precinct data, keep your county clerk links and post them here... this would be useful if we have to start phoning on Monday.

Counties Reporting
SANTA FE - could not find. Website: http://www.co.santa-fe.nm.us/clerk.html

of all of the NM-wide county clerk's offices, with addresses and phone numbers. If we have to call on Monday to get the info this will be useful.

7. They may not have thenumbers yet. Depends on the state but there's
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 12:41 PM by KoKo01
a delay until all the "Provisionals" and "Absentee's" can be counted.

Here in NC I have to wait for our Precinct results until after November the 11th because that's the day they wait to count them.

I don't know why they wait so long, and it does vary, but I just wanted to caution you that they might not be available yet if folks are trying to find them.

I can can hardly wait for the NC results because I was a Precinct Co-Chair and we worked out butts off trying to get out the vote. We want to know how our efforts paid off here, even though Bush carried NC. The impatience is getting to us...

Good Luck in keeping this going.

17. According to this chart, you did your job well
It is just that the votes got skimmed from Kerry's side to the dark side.

9. Anyone from NM want to help on this?
We could really use someone to tell us the county names where the big metropolitan areas are. they're more likely to put this stuff onlilne.

12. Here's your map
http://county-map.digital-topo-maps.com/new-mexico.shtml

Santa Fe in Santa Fe County
Albuquerque in Bernalillo County

This page will also show a map with the population numbers for all the counties. But I would guess that those two counties are the major population areas.

10. Here is more countywide data
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 01:00 PM by crispini
for current election, updated live.

http://65.160.159.96/

It says:

"Disclaimer: Many New Mexico Counties entered their election night returns into this election reporting system using county-wide totals. For the official canvass county vote totals must be entered by precinct. When counties begin entering their returns by precinct, the county wide numbers are temporarily withdrawn. This has the effect of producing large drops in vote totals and can even appear to change race outcomes until the county re-enters their data by precinct."

I've spotchecked a couple of counties and they all appear to be summaries.

14. Well, I have to go.
If anyone else wants to keep looking, have at it. I couldn't find it on the SOS website - I may have overlooked it, it would be worth another crack - but these smaller counties are much less likely to put this data on the web IMO.

 sorry dude... it seems that the data will have to come directly from the clerk's offices or the SOS office... have to see what they will give us on Monday.

I can help call and ask for the info. What specifically do you want and do you have a fax number where they can send?
