Republicans are scared of BBV too
I was working with three Republican ladies at the polls Tuesday. All of them were very happy we still have paper ballots.

It's not good for anyone if you can't be sure that your vote was recorded the way it was intended.

1. That is why I am pushing the fair vote count ballot initiative everyone is
for fair honest vote count. It can only fail where the count is fixed. The fix needs to be exposed.

2. Maybe we can make some (god forbid) alliances with specific
Republican candidates who feel they lost because of the same kind of fraud?

7. An alliance now could be decisive
Moderate republicans are currently being targeted by the radicals. They will either be assimilated into the ruling party or destroyed politically. Their only hope (and ours) for a political solution may be to form an alliance and take a stand NOW against the regime. Any real patriot will place country before party.

We must also use every scrap of our economic power to help starve the beast. This may be our greatest remaining weapon.

3. I still think the sheeple can be programmed to prefer BBV.
Once they realize that it is the only way they can win. The hannities of the world will convince them it's the only way christians should vote.

what is good for one group is equally as good for the other group at some point in the future.

5. I really think that for this to start getting some more coverage and
to be viewed as a necessity by both parties, we need to not make it about John Kerry. We need to use the language that it is about the integrity of our election system. Of course, while we check the integrity of the system, we will be checking the votes Kerry got v. Bush.

When we talk about changing who won the election, I think a lot of people just dismiss it as tin-foil stuff.

Everyone should care.

We can even argue that since increased turnout may have helped Repubs too (that is the current conventional wisdom going around on the MSM), they also have an interest in making sure all votes count instead of trying to suppress votes and go along with large numbers of spoiled ballots, etc.

8. manipulation is NOT equal to mandate...
it is most important to anyone who has developed thier ideas and are interested in thier outcome

someone who has developed a strong point of view...on either side of the aisle...would find this whole BBV offensive...

9. When is Delay going to be publicly lambasted for his insistence
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 01:11 PM by JudyM
on non-paper machines? I'd love to see him held personally accountable for the cost of replacing all those machines, at a minimum. More importantly he should be made to publicly explain his rationale for insisting on this. The greater the uproar over the lack of records, the more likely he'll be brought to the table to answer for this. Nad maybe then he'll be seen for what he is.
