3. Looks like too many people in denial.
We need to MoveOn. We need to regroup and forge a new unity. Work with DLC and NDN, friends.

6. I'm tired of MovingOn.
We've been "moving on" for 6 years, and all I've seen is backward movement.

9. Well, we have to start winning elections at some point, don't we?
And in order to do so, we have to correct our mistakes/strategy/tactics, etc. What's wrong with that? I mean, for how much longer can we simply be the party of protests and rallies and "alternative" websites and conspiracy theories? In order to further our progressive agenda, we HAVE to start winning elections.

13. Listen, we have to be engaged in the political debate.
Otherwise what is the point of even staying in this country. It sounds like you are ready to leave the States.

11. So if I understand...
...we further our progressive agenda by attracting voters who don't buy into that progressive agenda? I'm confused.

12. Its all about how you frame the debate.
And moderate your positions. Just look at some of our fellow Dems who keep winning in red states. Think of Ben Nelson and Evan Bayh and John Breaux. They are progressive, too. Let us learn some lessons from them. I mean, what has all this agitation and protestation bought us this year? All it has done is make millionaires out of people like Michael Moore and Joe Trippy and Kitty Kelley. We are no better off.

19. OK, that's fine, but...
..."getting over it" and "moving on" implies to me that we should ignore the fact that there are serious problems with the way elections are carried out-- yes, it is a long shot that this past election could be overturned (meaning, Kerry wins) by exposing fraud. But, exposing fraud in this election could, hopefully, provide impetus for a change in the way votes are collected and tallied.

If the debacle of 2000 was an indicator, it still seems unlikely that there will be any large changes before 2006, IMO. But, damn, to "move on" and give up would ensure that the problem only gets worse, if that is possible. I won't "move on"-- if the votes of the people are not counted reliably and elections are rigged, what the hell is worth "moving on" for?

Hi PeteNYC

Is there a better place to send reports of fraud, etc.

People really want to know that this is being looked into.

Do you have any suggestions?
