1. I believe there are problems that need to be investigated.
What that investigation turns up will determine how to answer your question.

13. My sentiments as well.
Especially with the studies that came out before the election saying that evangelical support for Bush was less than Rove expected, and even less than 2000.

It is quite possible that these churches got everyone to vote, and that the superior Republican GOTV machine won this election from them.

However, I find it equally likely that widespread hacking and fraud took place. Many religious and evangelicals were still opposed to the war now that the situation is out of control. Some said they wouldn't vote at all. And finally, Kerry was ahead in registered foters even more than by likely voters in all the poling. High turnout would almost have to favor him. If there were so many Bush voters "hidden" in the rural couinties of Florida that normally don't vote, we would have seen it in the registered voting polling.

This one fact leads me to be even more suspicious of this election.

4. Yes
And I believed all along during the campaign that it was gonna happen.

These are not men to give up power because of public opinion. These are criminals and they will stop at nothing to save their hides while robbing us blind.

BBV is the most egregious example of what was perpetrated against the electorate, but they pulled out all the stops this time.

14. I believe it was the most massive case of voter fraud in history.
As far as I'm concerned, Bush's "mandate" is about the equivalent of Saddam's "100% of the vote."

16. No. We had a weak candidate running on a weak platform.
Not to say there wasn't some fraud involved, but I doubt very much that it had a significant impact.

We had a candidate that failed to confront the issues and offer anything but nipping around the edges.

Most notably his understandable, but dispicable, attempt at political expediency with the IWR vote. It effectively removed the one issue that Bush was most vulnerable on. "But, senator, you voted for it."

The question of voter fraud should be pursued, but it's hard to believe that it will amount to much.

In the meantime it distracts us from the real issues, Iraq, Health care, the environment, women's rights, the economy, etc.

A sideshow at best.

19. As long as we have evoting,
the real issues, Iraq, Health care, the environment, women's rights, the economy, etc. won't matter. The Democrats will NEVER win another election if evoting remains in our election system. 2006 they will steal some more seat and in 2008 they will steal the rest. A ONE PARTY GOVERMENT. Fight to end evoting!

25. Hell, we're damned near to a one party (DLC/RNC) gov't now.
I'm all for banning evoting. I'm also for getting rid of the electoral college and for the rise of a truly progressive party.

You aren't going to build on the base by raising hell about what will be dismissed as sour grapes by most voters.

I firmly believe that if every vote had been on paper and certified by a CPA, we would have still lost.

As long as our candidates continue to pander to the right by moving right we will continue to lose elections.

Fight the DLC fifth column!

17. Most definitely!
But, we have four major problems: (1) election fraud, (2) media whoring, (3) conservative "fundies" and (4) corporate fascists.

Of the four, the businesses are the most vulnerable to attacks by us.

We could target on business at a time, say Coors Beer, run their value down by boycott. (50 million people could put together a hell of a boycott) After they are clearly on the ropes, pick the next target, say Walmart, then hammer their ass. The power here is that we could make examples of each. That would make it clear to all the rest that they may also be vulnerable. Think what a political statement it would make to cause Walmart's profits to drop several hundred million per year.

Until we are assured of paper trails there can be no democracy in America. I believe they did conspire to steal the 2000 election, but the electronic machines absolutely stole this election and the election of 2002. The exit polls don't just go all wacky for no reason.

Voting fraud has been around since the beginning of time. Why not now? Don't forget, we're talking about people who lie & cheat right to our faces, why wouldn't they do it behind our backs?

28. Seeing Red
All the voting machine companies owned by heavy Republican contributors, no paper trails, vanishing absentee ballots, blatant statements vowing to suppress voter turnout, heavily Democratic counties voting overwhelmingly for Bush -- no question about it -- the Bush administration is a stone-cold criminal animal.

put their goals out in plain sight. They TELL YOU they're gonna penetrate your private parts WITHOUT your permission. They do it over and over and some folks still can't get it into their head that they would do such a thing. :eyes:

Amurikkka is in serious need of a cataclysmic Cher SLAP. "SNAP OUT OF IT!" Pretty please?
