What will Bush's Inauguration Day be like? |
|
For his second term Inauguration Day, will all attendees have to sign oath pledges? Will they decide to skip it because of protestors? What sort of protests will be planned? Anyone planning on going down to D.C.?
Could be a *very* interesting day, if they don't cancel it.
Oh, and will there be a raising of the terror level and/or a terror alert shortly before in order to justify all the stormtroopers?
What do you think will happen?

we will have two inagurations, the one you will see on teevee, and the one that is actually taking place on the ground.
Or did yuo see any of that protesting on CNN in 2000? It took F 911 to bring it out

5. I don't know and I don't care! |

I plan on watching something that will make me feel better, like the FoodTV! I had stopped watching idiot boy for the last 4 years, and I'm not about to change. I spot watched the State of the Union Speech just to get a flavor of his BS that day. Haven't watched since. Not about to start now!!!

6. I'm seriously thinking of going to DC for it. PS. never protested. |
|
can you believe that? I sound like a firebrand at times, but I've only gone to rallies of my candidates. I've never walked in a protest. I've never held up a sign. But I am planning to fly to NY and drive down to DC for a protest of that evil scum when he tries to lay claim to the ill-gotten throne.

Make sure you leave your eggs out of the refrigerator for a good length of time. Let them accumulate a good stench ... for those of you planning on doing what you did last time. YES, expect protesters but expect them to be held blocks away from the action. I expect a rainy day, very cloudy and dark...as it should be. Expect Bush to stay inside the limo most of the time <again> There will be so many police and SS agents surrounding the limo, I can only hope the eggs get to the right place

That's what I picture happening to the people of DC. Not to mention those of us trying to get into the city.
If we're lucky, we'll be assigned to a parking lot "free speech zone" in Bowie, rather than shipped to Gitmo.
See you all there!

11. There could be a major "Democracy March" |
|
You can't easily put millions of people in a "free speech area"... If there was a "Democracy March" this could make the Million-mom-man-whatever marches pale by comparison. What if the mall was flooded with protestors?

12. Fasting the week before...then there'll be a prayer service... |
|
Rev. Moon will ascend the Capitol steps with the crown and scepter and hand them off to Crashcart... Truth be told, I'll never know. I can't afford the time off work to protest or the price of the trip even, so I'll just shun the coronation completely.
