Why don't the left and liberals in this country get it together and unite? |
|
I must be honest with all of you. I seriously thought that Bush would win unless more people set aside their differences. Well, Bush won but the circumstances, it was more suspect than us being divided. Many of us did get together and should be commended for this but I am still wondering why is it that we on the left or left of center cannot have a meeting of the minds are start a solid and united opposition? It drives me nuts that my fellow comrades, my fellow lefties and those on the center cannot come together. People from liberal Democrats to the Greens and all the way to the Socialists should just stop any petty bickering and start creating a united coalition against the Neocons and their allies.
If this does not happen, it is all going to be hopeless. I am sorry to say it but it's true.

1. Because people have not digested this |
|
division plays into bushco, who COUNTS on it
Then splash some evoting fraud
Then give us the "get over it crowd" and it just keeps getting worst by the minute
by the way, if people listen and start this general boycott we may have an effect... and a national strike should not be off the board either
Maybe Inaguartoon day would be an aproprite national strike day.

2. Funny the folks in my area are more mobilized than I had hoped for. |

We are uniting to make the next election easier, cut down canvassing and raising the awareness of our party. Maybe I live in a strange place, but we seem to be more energized then before the election.

3. What do you call what just happened on Tuesday? |
|
56,000,000 votes against an incumbent? I'd say that's a pretty unified opposition.
We lost by a hair, not by a mile. Put it into perspective, and let's figure out how to build on that...
