CNN Poll: Should Creationism Be Taught In Schools? |
|
Yes: 31% 39523 votes
No: 69% 86062 votes
Total: 125,585 votes
>>You can still vote in it, @ the bottom of the CNN.com homepage.
>>>Folks, the fact that even 31% said that it should be taught in schools, is the reason that this country is going to pure hell.

:puke: It shouldn't be, funny that creationism though is being brought up because Inherit the Wind is playing at the school I think next week. Creationism is something you should learn in church or if you go to a privately funded school not a publically funded school, I hate to say it but perhaps we are going to hell as a country, dumbass fuckers.

8. I agree---Creationism is for Churches |
|
and if some choose to believe it, the more power to them. But Public Schools should be the domain of empirically provable science.

12. The wording is usual CNN BS... |
|
They simply ask, "Should Creationism be taught in school?"
The thing is, though, that that wording leaves out the whole issue of in what context it would be taught at school--as part of a comparative religion course, as part of a "comparative science" course, or as the only valid scientific and religious argument?
I'm sure many people said yes, with either of the first two options in their mind (they're still wrong, but not because they're Fundies).

20. In Imperial Amerika: ONLY Creationism should be taight in schools |
|
It will hasten the final transformation of our Imperial Tyranny that much quicker.
It will more quickly create the fertile breeding ground for ignorant Imperial Slaves who will more readily perform great evils for their AmeriTaliban Masters.
Fuck it, let's gets the monstrous show on the ROAD! Enough waiting!
