Conventional versus guerillla combat: we think we're superior... |
|
We like our kills CLEAN. We like precision instruments that can cause apocalyptic destruction FROM A DISTANCE with pinpoint accuracy. We like munitons that can destroy hard targets, so we cover our stuff with depleted uranium--one of the most toxic heavy metals--because it keeps our hands clean.
They (the dark people--in the Middle East and Africa) avail themsselves to whatever techniques thay can improvise. Sword, Machete, simple bombs with human-driven delivery systems (smart AND cheap)...
I think the fact that we prefer clean, distant kills versus eye-to-eye and blood-on-blood combat is a (creepy) national point of pride.
It's also why well never "win".
