Dean coming back in 2008?
Check out this website I found. Some people want to see Howard Dean try again for President in 2008. I think if he does run, maybe he should run as an independent especially if the Democrats do not change to the right.

1. Dean-Clark or Clark-Dean (probablyi better).
Corporate America controls the media and we get manufactured news.
Corporate America now controls the voting machines and we get manufactured elections.

3. Funny, I was just listening to Cross Country, the call in show on CBC and
a guy who didn't like Bush at all commented about his CLEAR vision and straight talk. He said Dems needed straight talk...I immediately thought of Dean...His pugnacious and direct style is so incredible.....and Clark...well, we know how great he is!!!! Also direct and forceful...His "three strikes your out" mantra when I saw him just last week or so was really effective.....

13. Clark-Richardson...I love it!
Clark is a true liberal and a shit-kicking one to boot. Richardson is a very capable guy and would seal in the Hispanic vote for years to come. Then there's the Obama factor. Only problem w/him as VP is he's so much taller than Clark. We'll work it out.

2. No one knows. There is a petition.
http://www.petitiononline.com/drafthbd/petition.html

The party as it stands now will not let him, I guarantee. He took on the power structure, got slapped down for criticizing NAFTA, got put down for his civil unions bill.

Many of us decided a petition is fun and just a way to begin. Just a beginning.

11. Signed the petition
Dean is the only Presidential candidate my husband sent money to. Like me, he's a solid Dean supporter. I know many old line conservatives who like what he says as well. Dean can create a new coalition with both groups.

4. he could enter the Republican primary
now that would be hilarious. What will the corporate media say then? That he's just too far RIGHT?!

I never understood how an economic conservative who supports gun rights could be branded as a flaming liberal just because he was the only guy with the backbone to stand up against this asinine war.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm liberal about some things and conservative about others. But mostly I'm conservative about money and progressive on social issues.'' - Howard Dean

"What I want to know is why so many Democrats in Washington aren't standing up against Bush's unilateral war in Iraq,'' Dean demanded at last year's Democratic National Committee meeting. "My name is Howard Dean and I represent the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party.''

"Many people in Vermont thought he was a Republican in Democratic clothing,'' said Michael Colby, who publishes a weekly environmental newsletter called Wild Matters, and who covered the Dean administration for Burlington's largest alternative weekly. "Howard Dean is a conservative Democrat. It's quite comical for many of us to see this reputation in the national media that he is some sort of liberal.''

8. Go here.
You seem unaware of what DFA is doing. Dean worked for the voting reform there are two threads going right now about it.

Join up and read the blog and forums
www.blogforamerica.com

BTW, it is NOT Dean's place to speak out on the voting now. It is the party's place, they are failing, not him.

Nader, Cobb and Badnarik may all be willing to look into recounts in Ohio

For the record, I'm not a big fan of Nader-the-Politician. But if he follows through on this, we will all owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

7. dems are going
to be very northeast shy for a very long time. Dean doesn't stand a chance, but I wouldn't put it past him to run, if only to keep other candidates from veering to far to the right. Dean has a platform from which to make sure his voice and influence are heard and felt. I don't know that Clark has any platform from which to launch another run.

12. Sorry, I don't agree.
I've kept up with the voter fraud issue and remain unconvinced that the election was stolen. Not, mind you, unconvinced of fraud. More and more, I believe we lost despite voter fraud.

14. How about this for a platform.
1) He is brilliant and articulate.
2) He has an established, positive record of leadership skills (e.g., NATO).
3) He is a fighter and doesn't take crap from people.
4) He didn't abandon the Democratic Party after he was out of the primaries.
5) He's from a Red state, he won the OK primary, and nobody can accuse him of being against gun control (just ask the Serbs).
6) He's grown tremendously in just the months he's been on the national scene. If he'd had a bit more coaching before his initial announcement, he would have sealed the deal quickly (remember he polled 47% against Bush just by announcing).
7) HE OPPOSED THE IRAQ WAR FROM THE START. HE NEVER WAVERED.

He put together WesPack and that may give him something. I'd be ready to start working for him RIGHT NOW if he announced his intentions.
