Top Ten Ohio Unemployment Counties and the 04 Vote
If accurate people didn't vote for a better economic future. Kerry, like Gore only one one county. Bush improved in 6 of ten counties despite the economy.

County/Unemployment/04Result/00Result

Morgan 16.4% Bush 56%-43 (Bush00 58-38)
Meigs 15.7% Bush 59%-41 (Bush00 59-38)
Vinton 13.9% Bush 55%-45 (Bush00 55-41)
Adams 12.% Bush 64%-36 (Bush00 62%-35%)
Pike 10.4% Bush 52%-48 (Bush00 51-47)
Perry 9.8% Bush 52%-48 (Bush00 50-46)
Huron 9.1% Bush 58%-41 (Bush00 58-38)
Ashtabula 8.9% Kerry 53%-47 (Gore00 50-45)
Noble 8.9% Bush 59%-41 (Bush00 57-38)
Jackson 8.8% Bush 60%-40 (Bush00 56-41)

I wonder how this squares with other American counties.

I agree, what morons. They vote against their own best interest. Idiots. I hope they enjoy their wal-mart jobs without health insurance.

10. The ruined economy
is part of the strategy.

You've noticed the market's doing pretty good, but the job market stinks, right? The right people are doing fine.

The more desperate people are, the more likely they are to turn to sky-daddy to help solve their problems.

They're ripe for the picking!

9. many weren't convinced Kerry would do anything
he voted for NAFTA and there were many analysis that tax credits
wouldn't do anything to stop the hemorrhage of jobs.

He never talked about trade.

I personally think either there was fraud here, these people are idiots
and so on...

but I tried LIKE HELL to get detailed papers out to Ohio people on the streets, on plans to tweak
policy, which really needed to be looked at in total...

and I feel the Kerry campaign, especially by stopping the "Benedict Arnold CEO" rhetoric just tried to play both sides way too much
and hence didn't convince anybody he would be any different.

That was the consensus, right or wrong, that there wasn't any difference between the two candidates, both were perceived as going to screw the worker.
